Ginger began her career in fitness in 2008 as a Group Exercise Instructor for Les Mills, as well as an indoor cycle instructor. In 2011 she completed her first triathlon and shortly after developed back pain that was interfering with both her ability to teach, as well as daily life. She had the fortune to train with Vic Selvaggi while rehabbing her injury that was due, in part, to post-partum issues with diastasis recti. Inspired by the approach Vic used, Ginger joined the Kinetic Systems team in 2013.
In 2013 Ginger retired from a 20 year career with American Airlines. As a mother of two, trying to juggle work and motherhood, she became adept at figuring out how to combine fitness on the go, as well as meals while traveling, sometimes for 3-4 days at a time. In addition to personal training and teaching indoor cycle, Ginger is also a Health Coach with Precision Nutrition (PN). In 2015 she completed her PN Level 1 Certification and was a finalist in the January 2015 Women’s Coaching Program. Ginger currently offers health coaching as an add on feature for her training clients. She enjoys sharing the very program that helped her make tremendous strides both mentally and physically. Ginger also has a certification as a Cancer Exercise Specialist. Inspired by her childhood friends’ battle against breast cancer, Ginger enjoys working with clients who are currently in treatment, as well as survivors, to implement a progressive weight lifting program to increase muscular strength while reducing the incidence of lymphedema exacerbations.
